Had a great meal, food came out fast and was cooked just the way I asked.I will go back.
Good food medium spicy here is hotter than most, I ordered hot and they aren't messing around, but the pad Thai was so good it was worth the dealing with the heat
i’ve never had any issues with dine-in nor carry out, i’m always getting carry out from here and i always receive exactly what i ask for in a fair amount of time. my food’s always still hot by the time i get home too, i highly recommend !!
Delicious food. It's been a minute since I'd had Thai at a sit-down place, and this did not disappoint. Everything was flavored to perfection (as spicy or mild as we wanted) and tender in the right areas. I'd had satay at some places, and the chicken would be very dry or chewy. Siam Spicy's was tender, moist, and packed with flavor that went accordingly with the sauces. Wonderful.
Food is consistently good and one of the only Thai restaurants that has "Drunken Fried Rice" on the menu.
Highly recommend this place. Decided to stop by one day about 7 months ago with my girlfriend. It was by far the best Thai food we have ever had. We go nearly once a week, its always a treat. We both love the food, service, and prices. But i recommend you stay far away from the Tofu Food Tod, unless you like flavorless sponges.
Good. Wasn't my favorite, but I should go back.
Good food and affordable.
If you are a Thai food fan, this is one of the good places in the area. The food is good. Nice people. You will have nice experience there.
Food tastes good but is very salty. If you are watching salt intake for health reasons this place would not be the place to go. There's no need to add so much salt to food. I would visit again if they would limit the salt to RDA. Service is good. Ambience is good.
Little local Thai food place. Great place for a lunch. Soup, rice chips and meal for roughly $8.
Great food. Best thai around. Way better than the place across the street!
Phenomenal experience. For 25 years holding up their mark of excellence!
Their food is decent, the best Thai food in the area, though that doesn't say much, as it isn't very authentic. Their menu options are about what you'd expect from any typical Thai restaurant. The atmosphere is severely lacking, as you walk in and it's pretty basic. Plain tables and very little decoration and it's often quite nearly as hot indoors as outside during the summer months. Service is great, and the food is very reasonably priced. I recommend it over any other Thai restaurant only because anywhere else in the area is far worse.
Ordered the chicken satay and drunken noodles with beef and tofu. The chicken satay was decent but the sauce was pretty much just peanut butter. The drunken noodles were very bland and probably only had two broccoli. The beef had a weird texture and the tofu was dry.
Chicken pad Thai medium spice. Very good just the right spice very friendly
You made a pregnant women very happy with your food. I was craving for masaaman curry & spring rolls - vegetarian. Your spring rolls were made fresh i could just tell. The cabbage filling inside was SO CRUNCHY. a frozen spring roll when deep fried would never taste that way. Yours was absolutely tasty. My colleague ordered Crab rangoon and she loved them too. Your masamma curry was so delicious - full of fresh flavours. Thank you & please continue with your good standards of food quality.
They say they serve Chinese broccoli but what they serve is totally different. They serve boiled chicken instead of stir fried chicken. It is disgusting. I’ve had Thai food in LA, New York for the last 25 years or more. Big difference. I wish they wouldn’t claim that the food is “authentic”. No where near. The simplest dish, Larb, they can’t get that right. Not recommending it.
Looked and smelled clean. Quick service, friendly servers. At lunch, was immediately given complimentary soup and crisps. Generous portions of meal at very reasonable price. Ordered a peanut curry and of Thai, both tasted great, will definitely go back.
first time that this location. i was expecting my food to have some time of sauce or flavor on it but it looked nothing like the gallery on the website. both dishes i ordered look juicy and good and when i got home it was no sauce just plain rice and noodles with chicken. i could of made this my self. i guess ill have to stick with the Thai places in my area. i was disappointed a little because i really wanted Thai food. Other that the people was nice.
Big portions, cheap, this place slaps.
Really good and affordable
I love this restaurant. I am so happy that is in the neighborhood. I have been a fan for a long time. Earlier in my youth, I went to the one on Woodward. I am thrilled that there is one here. I enjoy the coconut curry dishes and the pad Thai. The crab Rangoon is also delicious. ❤️
One of my favorite restaraunts in the area
I love Thai food but this was hands down the worst Thai I’ve had in my life. Took one bite or the chicken pad Thai and spit it right out. It tasted like a bowl of salty worms. I mean so salty it was non-consumable. Super soggy noodles, no flavor, and probably about 5 tablespoons of salt. I was very shocked and disappointed considering this place has 4 stars which is astounding to me. I don’t know how they are in business. The soup was pretty good but also way too salty and the tofu was dried up and leathery. I had to get Doordash to refund my purchase. Please do not waste your money here. Go to Takeout Box in Westland. It’s unfortunately some of the only good Thai around this area.
I was not impressed with the food. I may go again to be sure, and I would not let this review dissuade you from trying it for yourself.
One of the best Thai places in Detroit. The ones in Novi and Royal Oak are just as good. Solid, good portions and reasonably priced
Fast and affordable carry out. The chicken lettuce wraps are definitely worth a try.
Great food and service
Tom Yum vegetable soup (flavored hot) is the bomb. Super fresh.
Best thai food around!
3 stars and not 5 because it's beyond annoying to have to pick the shrimp out of my dish and bite them because they refuse to remove the tails of the shrimp. Who wants to eat a soupy curry dish that they have to constantly dip their fingers into?
The pad thai has an ammonia taste and smell to it. I had to throw it out. I have no intention of ordering again.
Good food, restaurant personal are exceptional and practice all covic19 protocol with mask, social distancing and carry out only.
Not much better than fast food
way too salty... WAY too salty. soup and the lunch were incredibly salty.Thai tea with half the sweetener was very good6 months later, I visited again... Still way too salty. Reduce the salt!
Addicted to the crab rangoons. My husband likes them with less crab and I like them with lots of crab. That's exactly how these are with a lot of cheese and onion too. Enjoy! The rest of the food is good.
Food is delicious and a very clean building, they are also taking great precautions for the pandemic
Good authentic food. Have lassi.
Only tried it once for pick up. Not a great experience. Food was below average. Will try again and modify my review if there is a change.
Good Thai food. I have been there for lunch service. Menu is easy to order from. Food service is pretty fast, freshly prepared and steaming hot and tasty. Worth visiting.
Pretty good. I've had better but not in this area.
Original Taste - Great
Great food. Most of the time there is no wait for pickup.
My boyfriend and I stopped in tonight (Saturday night at about 8 pm) for the first time. Our AMAZING waitress was so nice and attentive! She really made the experience wonderful! We ordered the chicken wings with plum sauce, so good! We both got Drunken Noodles. I got chicken and he got beef. Both were delicious! Then wep HAD to order the fried ice cream. It's a little thicker shell than most fried ice cream I've had. It kind of reminded me of a donut covered ice cream ball lol. It was freaking yummmmmy!!! Will definitely be back next Saturday. Plus, I have leftovers for tomorrow! Very generous portions for the price!
Had to wait twenty minutes more than they said on phone for simple carryout. Annoying. Why? Get your act together.
Ordered the larb, I did not know they changed the recipe no roasted peanuts and the cracked roasted rice is not a good substitute for the peanuts. I did not want to eat raw rice. And I also ordered the pad prik you didn't have greens beans and suggested if you could use broccoli if would of tasted great if the sauce was good. Not going back and will not recommend this place. Go to Thai Ocha much better place
Good for spicy lovers.
this place used to make awesome thai just ordered from them today the worst i've ever had got the fried rice with chicken seemed like is was 2days old and tasted like old seafood dont know what happened to this place but i wont be back!!!
